Typically requested by your closing attorney or lender to satisfy part of your real estate closing. These are not instrument surveys. MIPs are a basic overview of the property showing the approximate location of the dwelling structure(s) in relation to the properties boundary lines as described in the deed on record. Information is reviewed and compiled to create the MIP; Registry of Deeds information (i.e., deed, plan, easements, etc. if applicable), assessors information, town/city zoning bylaws, field work from our site visit, flood zone data from FEMA, etc.
